EL PASO, Texas — A body was recovered from a canal on Panamerican Drive by El Paso Fire Department Water Rescue crews Friday evening, July 26, 2024.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m., according to a press release from the El Paso Fire Department. The body was turned over to law enforcement, and the El Paso Police Department is investigating the incident.
Fire crews have since returned to their stations. No further information was released by authorities.
