Catherine Herridge Spills the Tea on CBS Over Kamala Interview Editing Scandal

Kamala Harris was hoping to move the needle with her media tour.

She may have moved the needle alright, but in the wrong direction for her. She seems to be completely imploding along with her knuckle-headed running mate, Tim Walz. Interviews with friendly outlets are supposed to help prop you up. But her interview with “The View” just decimated her and her interview with “60 Minutes” has evolved into a full-blown scandal.

Bill Whitaker actually did a good job of asking some probing questions, and Kamala gave some ridiculous answers, including one incredible word salad about Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They released a clip on it early, but then when they did the whole interview on Monday, the answer had changed and been edited.

That caused the scandal to implode and made people ask what else they might have edited/left out/changed in the interview because it looks like it was edited to make her sound better after they cleaned up the word salad. As my colleague Sister Toldjah explained , they also edited the transcript and the “full” YouTube video.

Stephen Miller lines it up and also shows that if they’re going to try to argue that it’s because of “time,” it won’t fly.

The Harris campaign is trying to run away from the scandal. “We do not control CBS’s production decisions and refer questions to CBS,” a Harris campaign aide told Fox. Uh-huh. Did they ask to have any parts aired or not aired? Notice their response simply says they don’t “control” the production decisions.

CBS isn’t talking, so that’s not looking good for them.

The Trump campaign is demanding the release of the full transcript, understandably.

’60 Minutes’ Has Some Explaining to Do After Eye-Opening Edit Discovered on a Kamala Harris Word Salad

Now former CBS reporter Catherine Herridge is calling CBS outwith an example of what journalistic integrity and transparency are about. She began posting on X calling for them to release the full, unedited transcript.

She posted about releasing Trump’s interview.

“It’s about transparency and standing behind the integrity of the final edit,” Herridge said, demonstrating the “precedent” for doing so.

She also posted about Bill Barr’s interview.

But the fact they aren’t even responding on this so far speaks volumes.

And if they don’t release the full, unedited transcript before the election or provide any explanation, one can’t help but wonder if there’s more there that they left out or changed that could have hurt Harris.
