We’ll kick off the upcoming work week on another toasty and sunny note with highs headed for the mid-90s Monday afternoon. This heat will challenge the existing record high for the day of 95° set back in 2015, but humidity will still be low so at least we don’t have to deal with a heat index.
90s continue into Tuesday before a weak frontal boundary moves in by midweek. Highs drop into the mid-80s by Wednesday as a result, which is closer to the average for this time of year. Mornings will be a little cooler, near 60° by Wednesday and Thursday.
Any rain in sight? This weekend’s data now suggests that a slight pattern change and increasing humidity could bring a few isolated showers into the forecast late this week and into next weekend. It won’t be drought-busting, but it’s something to check back on in the days ahead!
