CNN’s Harry Enten Explains Just How Historic Trump’s Win Is, With Astonishing Numbers

With President Donald Trump’s big win on Tuesday, there’s a lot of talk now about a mandate from the people.

He so decisively beat Kamala Harris, you don’t even hear them talking at this point about any means of contesting the election. It remains to be seen if they try any funny business between now and Jan. 20, 2025. But the American people made the saying “too big to rig” come true with how big the win was.

It defied the ridiculous estimations by things like the Selzer poll that suggested Trump was going to lose Iowa. But not only did he win Iowa by a lot, he won or gained across all sorts of demographics. CNN senior data analyst Harry Enten explained just how historic the numbers were, “Holy Toledo!”

Enten laid out the facts.

More states (49 + D.C.) swung in Trump’s direction vs. last election than anyone since 1992.

“Holy Toledo. Oh, my goodness gracious,” Enten declared.  “These are the types of groups that you would have never thought that Donald Trump would have gained so much support among eight years ago.”

Plus, it was the best GOP showing with age 18-29 year olds in 20 years, black voters in 48 years, Hispanics in 52+ years, he explained.

On top of that, Trump had coat tails that produced the best GOP showing in House popular vote in a presidential year since 1928, Enten further detailed. So the Republicans will likely have the House, as well as the Senate and the presidency. It also appears that Trump will finish with whopping popular vote win as well.

Let’s not forget this point that Enten also made about the exit polls and just how well Trump did with Latino men, the best for a Republican candidate since they started exit polls in the 1970s and ten points better than Kamala Harris.

Talk about a historic mandate and a rejection of the Democrats — that is it. They didn’t believe “Hitler.” They didn’t believe the “racism.” They didn’t believe “threat to democracy.” They realized and rejected the lies. They did believe in what they had already seen from Trump: strength, peace, and a good economy.
