CNN’s Scott Jennings Demolishes Kamala’s ‘Weak Sauce’ Dual Interview With Walz

Kamala has finally agreed to do an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash after weeks of ducking interviews since being handed the nomination without a primary vote of the people. But as we reported, the interview wouldn’t be live, it will be taped and she’s going to do it with her running mate Tim Walz.

That immediately raised questions. Is she so weak that she can’t even do a basic interview by herself? Former President Donald Trump and his running mate are doing solo interviews all the time, It shouldn’t take all this effort and arrangement. If it’s like pulling teeth to even get a joint interview out of her, there’s a big problem there. Megyn Kelly even skewered her weakness, referring to Walz as her “emotional support Governor.”

CNN even had a panel discussion about their own interview and Anderson Cooper asked, “Is the line going to be why isn’t she doing it by herself?”  Political commentator Scott Jennings then just skewered Harris.

“I think it’s incredibly weak—weak sauce—to show up with your running mate. The fact that they don’t have enough confidence in her to let her sit, herself, the actual top of the ticket and do a single interview. In fact, I think the hand wringing, and the gyrations over this, over the last month, show a troubling lack of confidence in her political ability. Which also makes you wonder as a voter, what kind of president would you be if this kind of a small-time decision — can we do an interview or not  — what does that look like for your decision-making process so on? Yes, I think Republicans are going to think it’s pretty weak to show up effectively with someone to take up half the time.”

Yes, Anderson, the line is going to be why isn’t she doing it herself because that’s a logical question after all this delay. The question isn’t “Republicans pounce” — it’s what Jennings said why is she doing this, why does she have to do this? It’s a big red flag for voters, as if they needed another about Harris.

Good for Jennings for being willing to say that on CNN and completely demolish Harris. He’s shown before he’s not shy about skewering Democrats when they show they have no shame.

Now, of course, CNN could circumvent this move by Harris by directing all the questions to her. That is if they were interested in putting real questions to her and putting her to the test. But I wouldn’t bet on that, I’m fairly certain we’ll see Walz interceding when needed and that should be interesting given he seems to be factually challenged.

Harris is not going to be able to have a teleprompter or Tim Walz there during the debate, however, and that may be where the spit hits the spam on this election.
