FORECAST
Our first “real” cool front of the season arrives before sunrise tomorrow and will cause temperatures to go from record setting territory, to below average for this time of year.
Tomorrow morning won’t be that much cooler as low dip to near 60°, but tomorrow afternoon will only get into the mid 70s, which is a twenty degree drop compared to today. By the way, we tied a record (95°) this afternoon. Thursday morning will be our low point with temperatures in the lower 50s at sunrise (Hill Country 40s).
We’ll warm a little bit into the weekend with mornings back in the mid 60s and afternoons in the lower 80s, but we don’t see a significant jump in temperatures anytime soon.
As with most cold fronts, the wind will pickup tomorrow with northeasterly gusts up to 30 mph and a sustained wind of 10-20 mph.
Unfortunately, rain remains elusive with just small chances on Saturday.
