The venue, Cosm’s second, will show sporting music events and more.
THE COLONY, Texas — Cosm is bringing a new 65,000-square-foot experiential entertainment venue for watching sporting and music events to Grandscape in The Colony and it’s set to open this month.
The venue, which boasts an 87-foot-diameter LED dome, is set to open Aug. 31. The Los Angeles-based company has partnerships with ESPN, the NBA, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, Fox Sports, UFC and more.
Using its “shared reality” experience, which blends visual media, entertainment and technology, Cosm is kicking off in North Texas with showings of a slate of Week 1 college football matchups, including Clemson vs. Georgia and Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame Aug. 31 and USC vs. LSU Sept. 1. Tickets are available online or through Cosm’s mobile apps now.
Following Cosm’s opening weekend, ticketed events at the venue include U.S. Open tennis, Premier League soccer matches, and additional college football games throughout September. Highlights of the Premier League schedule of events include Manchester United vs. Liverpool (Sept. 1) and Tottenham vs. Arsenal (Sept. 15).
In addition to live sports, ticketed events at Cosm Dallas will also include the Cirque du Soleil’s production “O” and immersive art experiences.
Cosm Dallas at Grandscape is the company’s second venue, following the first one in Los Angeles at Hollywood Park, which opened in July.
