Cowboys lead Panthers at halftime, but see final moments of the 2nd quarter go sideways

 

With 11 players on injured reserve and more out with week-to-week injuries, the Dallas Cowboys pulled off a road win against the Carolina Panthers.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An injury-plagued Dallas Cowboys beat the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte 30-14. 

It was a great game for the Dallas offense. Cooper Rush threw for 214 yards and three touchdowns. Rico Dowdle rushed for 149 yards, and CeeDee Lamb converted nine receptions into 116 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas’ defense made some timely plays to create havoc for Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, who has recently played some of his best football. The Cowboys snagged two interceptions and two fumbles from Young.

The Cowboys pulled off the win against the Panthers despite a slew of injuries. Currently, 11 Dallas players are on injured reserve, and more are dealing with week-to-week injuries.

The Cowboys advance to 6-8 on the season, while Carolina continues a downward spiral to 3-11.
