Chopper footage showed large areas of burnt grass in an unincorporated part of Parker County.
PARKER COUNTY, Texas — Crews are battling a large brush fire in Parker County near 10000 Cleburne Highway.
According to Texas A&M Forest Service’s incident viewer , the fire is 50 acres, and at the last update just before 4 p.m., Hood County Fire Marshal Jeff Young said the fire was contained.
WFAA chopper footage showed multiple fire vehicles dousing some of the flames of the brush fire alongside a sizeable portion of burnt grass.
The fire doesn’t appear to be threatening any major populated areas.
