Pecan Street in Fort Worth is closed as crews work to repair a large water main break, police said.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Crews are working to repair a large water main break in downtown Fort Worth, police confirmed.
The Fort Worth Police Department said officers got a call about a large water main break off Pecan Street near the Women’s Leadership Academy. As a result, police shut down Pecan Street.
The water main break is near the train tracks, but Fort Worth PD told WFAA it will not interfere with train traffic.
It is unclear if the water main break has caused any water issues in the surrounding area.
