GRAPEVINE, Texas — Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons partnered with Great Wolf Lodge and Make-A-Wish to give back to the community.
Parsons held “The Great High-Score Challenge” where every time someone beats Parsons in one of the three new attractions, Great Wolf Lodge would donate to Make-A-Wish. Good Morning Texas was there as kids competed aga inst him in laser tag. Parsons told GMT it was a pleasure to give back to the kids who are fighting much bigger fights in life.
“It was a no-brainer for me,” Parsons said. “The importance of these kids, making their day, getting the opportunity to play with me I would bring anytime, any place, anywhere. And then the competitive spirit that these kids bring … they didn’t make it easy on me in anything. They challenged me every step of the way. You feel every fighting spirit that they got.”
Parsons said you wouldn’t even notice the battles and challenges these kids go through with how they carry themselves.
“It was truly remarkable,” Parsons said. “You couldn’t even tell what those kids were going through. Those are some of the bravest, toughest kids I’ve ever met.”
