DALLAS — Dallas families with California connections are raising donations for people who have been impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
Ellen Kershaw, the wife of Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and Dallas native Clayton Kershaw, and Cayla Atha (@theSavvyspoon) have partnered with Live Love Pop., Miracle Milkookies and Dondolo to help fill a 53-foot truck with donations. They’re asking for household goods like toilet paper and paper towels; recovery needs like trash bags, N95 masks and work gloves; new personal items, like underwear and socks; non-perishable foods like canned goods and snacks; and new and gently used clothing for men, women and children.

The donations truck will then be driven from Dallas to L.A., where the donations will be distributed at the Dream Center for people who need them. Clothing donations will be distributed by residents of the Palisades area to help displaced families.
