Dallas man shot in road rage incident overnight, police say

 

A victim is in critical condition after a suspected road rage-induced shooting in Dallas overnight.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Dallas police are investigating a shooting that may have started as a road rage-induced pursuit, according to a release. 

Officers responded to a shooting call around 1:30 a.m. Thursday off of St. Francis Avenue, the Dallas Police Department said in a statement. Officers on the scene said the suspect in the shooting pursued the victim after the two cars were involved in a minor accident. 

The shooting victim was grazed by a bullet and then fled to a QuikTrip off Buckner Blvd, according to officers on the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, the release states. 

The suspect left before officers arrived, according to Dallas police.
