Dallas Mavericks to face New Orleans Pelicans on KFAA, potentially without Kyrie Irving

The Mavericks will likely be without Kyrie Irving, who initially had planned to play in back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

NEW ORLEANS — Watch the Dallas Mavericks vs. New Orleans Pelicans on KFAA at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Here’s a breakdown on how to tune in – and guarantee you get the clearest signal possible of the broadcast.

The Dallas Mavericks (22-18) will face the New Orleans Pelicans (9-32) on Wednesday, coming off a Tuesday night loss to the Denver Nuggets. The matchup marks the second game in as many days for the Mavericks.

Unfortunately for the Mavs, they will likely enter this game without their points leader Kyrie Irving, who is still feeling the effects of a back sprain. In Tuesday night’s contest against the Nuggets, Irving played 30 minutes and recorded 11 points.

With Kyrie Irving likely sidelined, head coach Jason Kidd will turn to players such as Klay Thompson, P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, all of whom have stepped up in significant roles when the team has been shorthanded.

For the Pelicans, this game offers a prime opportunity to take advantage of an undermanned Dallas lineup. However, capitalizing on that opportunity may prove challenging, as the Pelicans have faced their own share of struggles this season and enter this game even more injured.
