One person was killed after a suspect hit their car and ran away from the scene on foot, police said.
DALLAS — One person died after they were involved in a hit-and-run crash on Northwest Highway near Northpark Center, police said.
Officers responded to a crash around 12:10 a.m. Dec 29 in the 6600 block of West Northwest Highway, Dallas police said in a press release. Police found that the victim’s car was hit by an unknown driver, the release states.
The victim was taken to a hospital where they died, police said. The driver and passengers of the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot, police said.
Dallas police are investigating the incident.
