TYLER, Texas — A well-known eatery, bar and arcade all-in-one is coming to East Texas.
Dave & Buster’s will be coming to The Village at Cumberland Park on S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler, according to a permit filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The entertainment venue, that will be located at 8930 S. Broadway Ave. Suite 220, will start its construction in March 2025 and it is expected to completed on Jan. 19, 2026, the filing states.
It will be a nearly 23,000 square foot one-story building with an estimated building cost of $4.5 million, the TDLR filing said.

The business began when Dave and Buster came together with their business models; Buster had a restaurant with tasty food and Dave had the place with entertainment and games.
The first location opened in Dallas in 1982. Dave’s name went first because he won a coin toss. Now, the franchise has grown to have over 170 locations with state-of-the-art games, delicious food, bar and HD televisions, according to the website.
