Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) was immortalized in 2010 when he told the Commander of U.S. Pacific Command, “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,” during a hearing on a planned addition of U.S. forces to the U.S. territory of Guam.
To date, Guam has not capsized, but RedState will post breaking news as warranted.
Johnson, long known for his hyperbolic nonsense, on Friday claimed “MAGA Republicans” descended on school board meetings in a similar manner to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot during a committee hearing, as reported by Fox News. It got worse, as one might expect with this guy.
January 6, 2021, will never be forgotten — an infamous day in American history. MAGA Republicans descended upon the capitol engaged in an insurrection. They occupied the Capitol, five people were killed, hundreds injured, including hundreds of Capitol Hill police officers attacked and bludgeoned. It was a day that we will never forget.
Completely delusional? Of course. (See: “Hank Johnson.”)
Johnson’s fairy tale continued:
And people on the local level at affected school board meetings, they won’t forget the MAGA Republicans descending on their school board meetings. After January 6th, like January 6th, disrupting meetings, it was a coordinated attack happening across the country.
Americans won’t forget about it. School board members, teachers, administrators, subjected to violence, threats of violence, harassment, intimidation and in response to that, the National School Board’s Association sent a letter to the Biden administration seeking federal help.
Stop the silly schtick, Hank.
The same school board members (See: “Loudoun County, Virginia”), teachers, and administrators lied about indoctrinating young children with Marxist-derived Critical Race Theory, gender fluidity, pronoun-self-identification, moreover subjecting young kids to Drag Queen Story Hour, and drag strippers, all the while arguing that the parents of these young children have no “right” to know what their kids are being “taught.
“Things had gotten so far out of hand, and by the way,” Johnson blathered on, “there’s not one scintilla of evidence, either direct or indirect, that there was any coordination between the Biden administration and the National School Boards Association that caused that letter to be sent, seeking federal assistance.”
Fine. Let’s run with your assertion, for a minute. So what? What does that have to do with the ridiculous charges made by you and your party — along with your wingman, media sock puppets– that rioters who smashed Capitol windows at first and forced their way into the Capitol Building (Capitol Police holding open doors came later) were “insurrectionists” intent on overthrowing the United States government?
Surely the Democrats wouldn’t concoct politically expedient nonsense (lies) with the sole intention of firing up the base, right, Hank?
At one point, Johnson switched to the November midterms, which are likely to result in the Democrats losing the House Majority and possibly the Senate Majority, as well. As per usual, the Georgia Democrat tied in the evil MAGA Republicans.
It’s really a travesty that we come today in Congress just a couple of months before a very important election that my [sic] MAGA supports on the other side of the aisle are intent on winning so they can take control of this body and then they will have the ability to harass and try to intimidate the administration with their oversight powers.
Oversight powers, Hank? Again, dude, look in the mirror. The Democrat Party delights in the oversight of every aspect of life in America, including closed doors of Americans’ homes.
Johnson, perpetually brimming with civil rights righteousness, also came under heavy fire in 2016 after comparing Jewish Israeli settlers to termites in support of an anti-Israeli organization. Yet this hypocrite of the worst kind, as is the case with his president, condemns Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans as a “threat to democracy.” Go figure.
And, this just in: There remains zero evidence that Guam is in danger of “tipping over,” anytime soon.
