Two men were shot overnight in Denton, police said. One man died at the scene.
DENTON, Texas — One person died in an overnight shooting in northwest Denton, police said.
Denton Police responded to multiple callers reporting gunshots around midnight Saturday, May 25 in the the 3200 block of W. Windsor Drive. Callers told police they saw a pickup truck that was possibly involved in the shooting drive into a nearby field, police said in a statement.
Officers located the truck and found two men with gunshot wounds. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not immediately release any additional information about the victims.
