- A few storm storm chances down the road
A nice Monday!
The best news to share about Monday is LIGHT WINDS! We’ve been so breezy for so long. It will be nice to enjoy a day when the winds remain in check. It will be a warm, sunny afternoon with highs climbing into the upper 70s and lower 80s. We’ll even approach 90 on Tuesday before our rain chances arrive.

Where’s the rain?
Spring is typically our rainiest season, and March is one of our wettest months, but this March has been unusually dry. Looking ahead, that trend doesn’t seem to change for much of North Texas. Rain chances over the next two weeks look minimal, BUT we at least have SOME rain in the forecast.
The first chance of rain this week will be late Tuesday night into Wednesday: Scattered showers and storms are possible as a little disturbance sweeps through the area. At this time, the rain coverage looks highest early Wednesday and mainly north of I-20. The severe risk looks very low! That’s great news. The same thing applies to the rain chance by the end of the week.
Second Chance of rain: Another disturbance will come in very late Thursday into Friday. This one will come from the southwest and bring a chance of showers and storms to spread over the area from west to east. As previously mentioned, severe weather risk is very low. Any rain we can get will be good because we are really starting to fall behind.
