Freeze Warning
The morning after Thanksgiving will bring the coldest fall temperatures so far this year with a chance of widespread frost and fairly widespread freezing temperatures outside of the DFW area on Friday morning. In immediate DFW, freezing temps chances are low but it will be very close for many.
Protect any tender vegetation and bring pets indoors. Some damage could occur to outdoor unprotected plumbing.
A Freeze Warning is in effect through Friday morning for the blue highlighted counties.
Friday and this weekend
Cold mornings, pleasant and seasonably cool afternoons. Unlike Thanksgiving, the sunshine will return for the next several days. Rain is not in the forecast until the middle of next week.

The overall pattern stays near or cooler than normal. Rain chances return toward the middle of next week, but at this time, the coverage is low. The best chances for rain are mainly south of I-20.
