In this episode of This… is CNN… The Most Trusted Name in News(TM)…
After the firing of Chris “Fredo” Cuomo, Don Lemon stood alone as the most arrogantly left-wing host on embattled CNN. Cuomo was fired for shilling and covering up for his equally-disgraced brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, yet Lemon was recently demoted from his prime-time gig to CNN’s new morning show, which will debut “sometime this year.” Too bad; he should’ve been kicked to the curb, as well.
Lemon wrapped up his emotional farewell on Friday night by melodramatically telling viewers, “I was not always perfect,” while sniffing and fighting back tears. In other words, classic Don Lemon.
As transcribed by The Blaze, Lemon’s excuses for his “not always perfect” behavior were a total joke.
I know I was not always perfect because no one is perfect. Because there are immense pressures that come with this job and in particular this time slot at 10 o’clock when people are going to bed. So sometimes all I could do — I’m gonna be honest with you — is just smile and just get to the commercial break sometimes.
Oh, please. We pretty much know nobody’s perfect, Donnie — but there are immense pressures in untold numbers of jobs and careers. And what did your blatant bias have to do with people going to bed? And that “just smile and get to a commercial break”? Dude, we knew you were a Democrat Party sock puppet but I’m not sure we knew you were this far gone. Let’s take a short walk down Lemon Lane, shall we?

And there are many more, Donnie. Far as I can tell, zero of them have anything to do with the “immense pressures” of your job or “people going to bed” at 10:00 p.m. — but they have everything to do with your demotion to early mornings. Hell, dude — you should count your lucky stars that new CNN honcho Chris Licht didn’t drop a “Chris Cuomo” on you.
As he closed, Lemon served up a few more excuses, not quite playing the victim, but damn close.
Sometimes it was exhausting because some of the things that we discuss here are so personal and so consuming, all-consuming. So I hope I made you proud. And I thank you for tuning in all these years. And I hope that you’re gonna join me in the morning. So I will simply say good night, and I will see you soon.
No words, other than: How delusional can this guy be? Just as delusional as every other leftist.
Lemon then waved at the camera and said, “I’m gonna leave, and I’m gonna go upstairs,” as he stood up, with the camera following him as he heroically climbed a flight of stairs. After weirdly blurting out “Bye,” he sighed and sniffled his way into the CNN prime-time sunset.
Almost brings a tear to your eye, huh?
