Downpours slowly ending

  

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Rain Ends later this evening
  • Stray showers tomorrow afternoon (far fewer than today)
  • Temperatures back into the 90s

FORECAST:

The few remaining downpours will soon come to an end tonight, then leave us with high humidity and temperatures in the 70s.

A few showers could develop tomorrow afternoon, but the coverage will be very limited and most of us will stay dry. More than anything, expect morning clouds then afternoon sunshine with a high near 90°

The weekend looks sunny and warm with highs in the low to mid 90s, which is near average for this time of year. Daily afternoon pop-up showers are possible next week, but coverage and accumulations will be minimal. Temperatures remain in the 90s next week (no triple digits!).

The summer solstice occurs today at 3:51pm. That means we officially move into summer with the Northern Hemisphere tilted toward the sun. It is the longest day of the year, with more than 14 hours of daylight.
