Thousands are expected to participate in a march in downtown Dallas Sunday, protesting the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
DALLAS — A protest organized by The League of United Latin American Citizens will weave through downtown Sunday, possibly causing traffic delays as protestors call for bipartisan immigration reform.
The Mega Marcha 2025 will start around 1 p.m. Sunday, meeting at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, located at 2215 Ross Ave in downtown Dallas.
“We have the right and duty to petition our government to fix a broken immigration system and create a legal and humane process for hard working, law-abiding immigrants to achieve the American Dream,” march organizers said. “We march because hate and fear-mongering have no place in the White House, the State House, and our American homes.”
Dallas Police said motorists should expect delays in downtown Dallas and street closures will begin at 12:15 p.m., police said.
The March is expected to last about 45 minutes, according to the march’s website.
