DALLAS — Eddie V’s Prime Seafood is closing its Dallas location at the end of the month, the upscale steak-and-seafood restaurant’s owners confirmed.
Darden, the restaurant group that owns Eddie V’s, said in a statement that it was a difficult decision to close the Dallas spot, which is located at 4023 Oak Lawn Ave .
Eddie V’s last day of operation there will be July 29.
“Closing this restaurant is a difficult business decision, and one that we made carefully and thoughtfully, particularly because it impacts our team members and guests,” the Darden statement said.
Eddie V’s still has locations in Fort Worth, at 3100 W. 7th St., and in Plano, at 5300 State Hwy. 121.
Darden officials said the company is offering all of its Dallas employees the opportunity to join either of their other locations in North Texas.
The Eddie V’s Dallas location had been open since 2010, according to the Dallas Business Journal.
