Election results: See who won municipal runoff elections across North Texas

   

North Texas voters went to the polls Saturday to decide runoffs from the May 4 municipal elections.

These runoffs followed the broader slate of local elections for mayors, school board members, and municipal bonds. The results of the runoff elections are below. To see vote totals, visit The Dallas Morning News election results page.

Dallas County

In the election for Irving City Council District 4, Luis Canosa beat Susan Motley according to unofficial election results. Casosa received 56.44% of the vote to Motley’s 43.56%.

Tarrant County

For Euless City Council Place 5, Annabel Jones Eads beat Joseph A. Robinson according to unofficial election results. Eads received 51.09% of the vote to Robinson’s 48.91%.

For Kennedale City Council Place 2, Thelma L. Kobeck beat Matthew Dyer according to unofficial election results. Kobeck received 81.94% of the vote to Dyer’s 18.06%.

For North Richland Hills City Council Place 4, Matt Blake beat Jeff Arwine. Blake received 53.23% of the vote to Arwine’s 46.77%.

Collin County

For Allen City Council Place 3, Ken Cook beat Dave Cornette according to unofficial election results. Cook received 60.01% of the vote to Cornette’s 39.99%.

For Allen City Council Place 5, Carl Clemencich beat Dave Shafer. Clemencich received 62.25% of the vote to Shafer’s 37.75%.

For Anna City Council Place 4, Kelly Herndon beat Bruce Norwood according to unofficial election results. Herndon received 59.40% of the vote to Norwood’s 40.60%.

Denton County

For Lewisville City Council Place 2, William J. Meridith beat Penny Mallet according to unofficial election results. Meridith received 52.11% of the vote to Mallet’s 47.89%.

Rockwall County

For Fate City Council Place 1, Codi Chinn beat Cinnamon Krauss according to unofficial election results. Chinn received 56.92% of the vote to Krauss’s 43.08%.

Ellis County

For Place 1 of the Ellis Appraisal District, Paula R. Baucum beat Beverly Gatlin according to unofficial election results. Baucum received 53.11% of the vote to Gatlin’s 46.89%.

For the Midlothian City Council Place 6, Wayne Shuffield beat Hud Hartson according to unofficial election results. Shuffield received 68.30% of the vote to Hartson’s 31.70%.
