Ella Emhoff is the daughter of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and the stepdaughter of failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris. In case you didn’t know, Ella Emhoff has sensitive green eyes and is a “style icon.”

On Friday, the 25-year-old posted a paid partnership with Prada on her Instagram account, writing:
My sensitive green eyes have never felt so protected on these sunny winter days. No more wind induced tears for me!

In her Prada ad, Emhoff donned black slingback heels with socks, tights, and shorts. As if to emphasize the dysfunctional winter look, she paired it with a short-sleeved cable-knit sweater.
But how did someone dressing like a toddler unaware of seasonality become the left’s fashion ‘It Girl’?
Emhoff wore a Miu Miu jewel-dripped coat to the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Momala Harris in 2021.
Later that month, she joined a roster of elite top models like Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Hailey Baldwin, signing with IMG Models Worldwide. But not only did she wear a coat to an event, she also is a quirky knitter , as People explains:

Nearly a year after stepping into the sartorial scene professionally, she has established herself as a style “icon” due to her eccentric style and comfort in her own body. Furthermore, she gained attention as a designer with her quirky knitwear creations.
Since then, Emhoff modeled for high-end brands such as Balenciaga and appeared in fashion magazines like Vanity Fair and Vogue. Shewalked the runway for designers like Miu Miu and Proenza Schouler. She has also attended the Met Gala, an exclusive red-carpet event held annually in May in New York City, attracting celebrities and the fashion world’s elite.
Aside from her knitting designs, Emhoff is commended for possessing another skill: growing hair. Emhoff wears body hair like a fashion accessory, from portraits showcasing her prominent unibrow to armpit tresses peeking from her dresses.
The rest of us shouldn’t get our hair-brained hopes up that we, too, can wear coats, stop grooming ourselves, and become the next high-fashion figure. Most of us simply lack the nepotism to achieve such hollow aspirations.

However, conservatives do have something to look forward to – our own knitter extraordinaire, Harmeet Dhillon, is poised to take on a powerful role. Dhillon, an esteemed attorney and avid knitter, has been appointed to lead the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division in the incoming Donald Trump administration.
