Democrat Mayor Eric Adams held a press conference on Tuesday in which he blasted the Biden administration for their failure to deal with the problem of illegal aliens, which he said was having such a harmful impact on New York City.

As we reported, he challenged the left to “cancel me” for saying he would be open to hearing what the Trump administration’s plans were to deport illegal aliens.

But he also specifically called out the Biden administration for the actions that led to the illegal alien problem now overwhelming New York City. He said that the city has had to spend $6.4 billion to deal with the problem that they couldn’t use for other services.
“We ALL should be angry at what happened to our city under this administration!” Adams exclaimed.
He also praised the Department of Government Efficiency and said he looked forward to working with Elon Musk, who co-heads it with Vivek Ramaswamy. Adams said he was agreeing with the Trump administration for no other reason than that he agreed with them, saying there needed to be a change.

But the funniest part was when Adams was asked about the pardon for Hunter Biden. He said there was “almost a level of irony,” then broke out The NY Times to support his point.
He read a sentence that said Biden and President-elect Trump “now agree on one thing: The Biden Justice Department has been politicized.”
“Does that sound familiar?” he asked, referring to his own criminal case. “I rest my case.”

Whatever one may think about the criminal case against Adams, he certainly slammed the point that the Biden DOJ is broken home in a funny way. Indeed, as we reported, even White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre couldn’t get around the reporter questioning on that issue about the politicization of the DOJ.
