Dallas police responded to a crash around 10:40 p.m. on Interstate 45 in southern Dallas.
DALLAS — One person died in a fatal crash Tuesday night, police said in a press release.
Officers responded to a crash around 10:40 p.m., April 15, in the southbound lanes of Interstate 45 at Overton Road, officials said in a press release. Police determined two vehicles were involved in the crash, the release states.
One person was taken to a hospital, where they died, police said.
All southbound lanes of Interstate 45 were closed at Overton Road overnight due to the crash, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. The road reopened to traffic around 4:30 a.m.
Police are investigating the crash.
