EDNA, Texas – A woman was killed, and a man was arrested following a shooting in the early hours of August 9, according to an article from Jessica Coleman of the Jackson County Herald Tribune.
Authorities responded to a 911 call shortly before 2 a.m. after a third party reported hearing possible gunshots near Kleas and Buffalo streets in Edna.
Upon arrival, officers found 36-year-old Ramon Palacios of Edna at the scene. Palacios confessed to shooting his girlfriend, Roseanne Martinez.
Palacios has been charged with murder and is currently being held at the Jackson County Jail.
