NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — Police in North Richland Hills are investigating a shooting that started as a fight between neighbors in North Richland Hills Sunday.
Police were called to reports of a shooting around 3 p.m. in the 7500block of Windhaven Road. Officers found William Platt Jr., 48, shot multiple times in the front yard of a home. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.
Officers arrested the 60-year-old suspect, who had remained at the scene. Officers determined the suspect was the victim’s neighbor, police said.
The North Richland Hills Police Department did not immediately release the name and charges of the suspect.
Officers are still investigating the incident, police said. More information about what led to the initial fight was not released.
