First dose of dust on the way

KEY POINTS:

  • Mid/upper 90s each afternoon
  • Feels-like 105° – 108°
  • Isolated coastal showers daily, most miss out
  • Saharan dust by the weekend

FORECAST DETAILS:

Our repetitive weather pattern continues with similar conditions everyday.

However, the upper-level steering flow will change and actually open the door for activity to arrive from the Gulf, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any available energy and moisture. At least not for now. 🤞

AFRICAN DUST:

African dust (Saharan Air Layer) is expected to stream over San Antonio by late Friday/early Saturday, but the amount will be light at first.

More noticeable concentrations of dust will add a haze to the sky on Sunday, which will also cause more vibrant sunrises and sunsets.

Saharan Air Layer arrives this weekend. (Copyright 2024 by KSAT – All rights reserved.)
