AUSTIN (KXAN) — We’re two weeks away from the end of meteorological winter, but the coldest temperatures of the season will likely be arriving in a few days.

Our Next Storm System

There have been discussions of a possible wintry mix Tuesday night, but our next storm system, which will bring light showers to eastern counties Tuesday afternoon, will likely move out of the area before temperatures drop enough for wintry weather conditions. On Tuesday, rain chances will be at just 30%, decreasing to 10% in the evening.
