The recall affects Fisher-Price’s Brunch & Go Stroller Toys, which feature a pretend avocado toast with attached toy pieces.
WASHINGTON — Fisher-Price has recalled around a quarter of a million stroller toys due to a choking hazard.
The move comes after reports that a toy egg component can crack on the Brunch & Go Stroller Toys, creating small parts that pose a choking hazard to children.
The recall, which covers around 253,000 toys, was shared by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on April 10.
The recalled toy features a pretend avocado toast, along with a mirror tomato, crinkle bacon and an egg teether. The yolk of the egg teether can break apart, according to the recall notice.
Fisher-Price has received five reports of the yolk cracking, with two incidents involving infants who placed a small broken piece in their mouths. No injuries have been reported.
The model number HGB85 is printed on the tag attached to the toast. The toys were sold at Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Marshalls, Nordstrom, Ross, TJMaxx and Walmart stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com, from February 2022 through March 2025 for about $13.
Consumers are instructed to stop using the recalled toy, keep it away from children, and contact Fisher-Price for a free replacement. Instructions for marking the egg component and uploading a photo to receive a replacement are available at https://service.mattel.com/us/recall.aspx. Fisher-Price is also contacting all known purchasers directly.
This is the second Fisher-Price toy recall announced recently.
About 15,300 tissue box toys sold with the company’s 3-in-1 SnugaPuppy Activity Centers were also recalled after it was found pieces of the tissue box could come apart, posing a choking hazard. No injuries have been reported in relation to that recall either.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tissue box toy, remove it from the activity center, keep it away from kids and contact Fisher-Price to receive a free replacement toy for the activity center.
