The suspect was arrested this week and immediately fired by the district.
CELINA, Texas — A former Celina ISD bus monitor was arrested by police shortly after being fired due to allegations of inappropriate contact with a female student, officials said.
According to Celina police, the suspect, Timothy Adams, was charged with indecency with a child and improper relationship between educator and student.
Celina ISD said in a statement that the district became aware of the allegations Monday and immediately notified police. Adams was taken into custody and fired by the district.
“The District does not tolerate any behavior that compromises student safety, and our leadership team acted decisively to address the matter as soon as it was reported,” the district said in a statement.
Adams previously served as a substitute bus driver for Celina ISD from December 2023 through May 2024.
