Ashton Garcia, 18, turned himself into custody over the weekend, Salazar said during an unrelated news conference on Wednesday.

According to Bexar County jail records, Garcia was booked into the jail just after 4:15 a.m. Sunday on a theft charge worth between $30,000 and $150,000.
Court records indicate a judge set Garcia’s bail at $40,000. He posted bail and was released from custody just before 2 a.m. Monday.
According to Salazar, Garcia was the fourth of four suspects Bexar County deputies believed were connected to the auto theft ring that spanned the county.
Deputies arrested Bryan Salazar, 22, Jocelyn Guzman, 21, and Isaiah Perales, 20, on Oct. 10.
The suspects used technology to duplicate key fobs for Dodge Chargers and Challengers, among other vehicles.
From there, they hoped the device would save information on the cloned fobs, the sheriff said.
Last week, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said Bryan Salazar was arrested and charged with tampering evidence, marijuana possession and deadly conduct. Guzman was arrested on two counts of making a false statement to obtain property and two additional counts of securing a document fraudulently.
Both were arrested in the 11000 block of Victory Cavern in far Northwest Bexar County.
Perales was arrested on auto theft charges in the 4400 block of Wrangler Run in Southeast Bexar County.
During the arrests, BCSO said deputies found drugs and weapons from at least one location.
Salazar said deputies found evidence at all three locations that tied the suspects together.
