Foxtrot is bringing back a second Dallas location, but no word on any other reopenings.
DALLAS — Foxtrot’s push to reopen its Dallas locations continues!
The company announced it will reopen the doors at its University Park location on Thursday, Feb. 6. This will be the second location Foxtrot has reopened since abruptly closing its four Dallas stores in April.
In December, the Chicago-based upscale corner store company announced it would reopen two of its Dallas locations. It has since reopened its Knox Street location.
The University Park location is located near Snider Plaza at 6565 Hillcrest Ave. To celebrate the reopening, the market will offer two promotions!
On Friday, Feb. 7, SMU students can get a Mustang Cold Brew for $3 when they show their student ID, and on Saturday, Feb. 8, kids can get a free lemonade refresher.
The new location will feature an expanded cafe and food menu with new breakfast tacos, coffee blends and gummies, the company said.
Foxtrot previously had four Dallas locations — in Uptown, Knox-Henderson, Greenville Avenue and Snider Plaza, near SMU — before the company abruptly closed all its stores — affecting 33 Foxtrot markets and two of the company’s Dom’s Kitchen & Market locations, nationwide last April.
There has been no word on if Foxtrot will reopen its Greenville location, and the Uptown location has since been replaced by Berkley’s Market.
About three weeks after all Foxtrot Market locations suddenly closed, the parent company of the specialty grocer and café filed for bankruptcy, court records showed.
Foxtrot, which is based in Chicago, has since started the process of reopening stores and has reopened some locations in Chicago.
