Beginning Friday, Jan. 17, SAPA will host an adoption special to help get some animals into a home. The special will go through Jan. 26.

During that period, all adoption fees will be waived for most of their pets.

All adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered.

Fostering is another option if you are not in a place to adopt. It gives the animals a chance to get out of the shelter, learn what home life can be, and creates space for SAPA to rescue more animals at risk of being euthanized.

“Our mission has always been to save as many lives as possible, but right now, we need our community’s support more than ever,” said Joel McLellan, senior director of Programs and Operations for SAPA. “Every adoption and foster placement creates space to rescue another animal in need. With adoption fees waived, now is the time to help us save lives.”

You can see all the animals available for adoption and fostering at SAPA’s website.
