The Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Trump campaign, along with the Arizona Republican Party, made a major announcement late Tuesday night, in hopes of safeguarding the 2024 elections as fair and free in the Copper state. And the best part is that the person who will take charge on the legal front is a name many conservatives are familiar with.

In a joint statement, RNC Chairman Michael Whatley and co-Chair Lara Trump, and Trump Campaign Managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, said that conservative and civil rights attorney Harmeet Dhillon has stepped up to lead the campaign’s Election Integrity team, which aims to “stop Democrat interference and secure Arizona’s elections,” according to a press release.
They continued in a statement:
“We are proud to announce President Trump’s appointment of Harmeet Dhillon as our new legal counsel in Arizona. She will spearhead critical legal battles, stop the many attacks on the integrity of our elections, and lead our winning election integrity team to Protect the Vote. Election Integrity is the top priority for President Trump, his campaign, and the RNC, and with a fair and secure election Arizona will send President Trump back to the White House. Harmeet is an unmatched force for Election Integrity and will lead the fight, and win, to secure Arizona’s elections – for our country’s most important election.”
Gina Swoboda, who chairs the Arizona GOP, also chimed in, calling Arizona “the battleground for this election.”
She continued by praising Harmeet Dhillon’s appointment, saying she “is ready to lead the fight,” and the state Republicans “are committed to an honest and secure election system, that counts every legal vote properly.”

She added that “Arizonans, and Americans, deserve nothing less, and we are full steam ahead in our unprecedented dedication to Election Integrity.”
Readers might recall that Dhillon, the RNC’s National Committeewoman for California since 2016, is the managing partner of Dhillon Law Group. In addition to standing with Trump, she has fought tirelessly for decades, in courtrooms across the country, championing fair election law, defending Americans’ First Amendment rights, and stopping non-citizens from voting.
She also was mentioned in the conversation in 2023 over who should take the reins of the RNC. More recently, as we wrote, Dhillon represented a pro-life journalist who exposed the evils of Planned Parenthood’s scheme to sell aborted babies’ body parts:

She also passed along the joyous reaction from the former president in mid-July, after news broke that the classified documents case, which had been weaponized against him, had been dismissed:

In case you can’t read the post, Harmeet said:
Honored to serve. I’ve already spoken to most of the movers & shakers in AZ, and I’m heading there shortly after fulfilling another campaign duty in another part of the country. Have laptop, will travel! I look forward to working w/ our AZ legal colleagues already on the ground!
We’ll keep you posted as we draw nearer to the November elections.
