Governor Greg Abbott has appointed John H. Eichelberger, III and reappointed Rolando Castro to the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board for terms set to expire on January 31, 2029. The Board performs duties relating to the education, ethics, and certification and licensing of real estate appraisers and appraiser trainees.
John H. Eichelberger, III of Houston is a partner at Schwartz, Page & Harding, LLP. He serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Reform. Eichelberger received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics from George Mason University and a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.
Rolando Castro of Cypress is a director at Cushman & Wakefield. He is an MAI-designated member of the Appraisal Institute. Additionally, he serves as vice president for Soaring Kidz, an organization that serves children and teenagers of varying abilities to participate in organized sports programs. Castro received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Texas A&M University.
These appointments are subject to Senate confirmation.
