Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Grace Yocum to the OneStar National Service Commission for a term set to expire on March 15, 2026. Additionally, the Governor reappointed Ashleigh Feuerbacher, Annette Juba, Mike Morath, and Corina Sadler for terms set to expire on March 15, 2028. The Commission promotes volunteerism in Texas and oversees the administration of the AmeriCorps programs for the state.
Grace Yocum of Round Rock is a student at Texas A&M University and is a management major with a minor in nonprofit and public service studies. She is a student intern at the Texas A&M Foundation, student program coordinator for The REACH Project, and chair of Client and Community Affairs at 180 Degrees Consulting.
Ashleigh Feuerbacher of Stephenville is the vice president and chief project manager of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority. She is a member of the International Economic Development Council, Texas Economic Development Council, and 50 Women Strong. She is a volunteer for Stephenville Downtown Merchants, Graham Street Youth, Erath County 4-H, and the Stephenville FFA Booster Club. Additionally, she is a mentor for Foster’s Home For Children. Feuerbacher received a Bachelor of Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Tarleton State University.
Annette Juba of Austin is the deputy director for AGE of Central Texas, a regional non-profit organization serving older adults and their family caregivers. She is the former co-chair of the Aging Services Council and a University Field Affiliate in The University of Texas (UT) at Austin School of Social Work. Juba received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Work from UT Austin.
Mike Morath of Austin is the Commissioner of the Texas Education Agency. He is a former board member of the Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees. Morath received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from George Washington University.
Corina Sadler of Plano is the volunteer resources manager for the City of Plano. She is a member of the National Association of Volunteer Programs in Local Government, Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement, Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers, and Directors of Volunteers in Agencies Tarrant County. Additionally, she is a volunteer outreach committee member for the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration, Social Media Manager for Engage Journal. Sadler received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Gerontology from the University of North Texas.
