The Mansfield store will be the second H-E-B store in Tarrant County.
MANSFIELD, Texas — H-E-B’s North Texas expansion continues with two new locations.
The Texas grocer is opening its Mansfield location at 1670 Broad Street on June 26 and will break ground on a location in Rockwall at the southwest corner of I-30 and S. John King Boulevard on June 27. That store’s expected to open in 2025.
The Mansfield store will be the second H-E-B store in Tarrant County. The first one in the Alliance area opened in April.
A third Tarrant County store is planned at the northwest corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Boulevard in the Glade Parks South area, which sits in both Euless and Bedford. The projected opening date is late 2026.
Construction is also set to begin this year on a store in the Collin County city of Murphy on the southwest corner of Farm Road 544 and McCreary Road, south of the CVS Pharmacy in that area.
H-E-B already had a strong presence in North Texas, with store locations in Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, and more, according to its website.
H-E-B also broke ground on its second Dallas Joe V’s Smart Shop in March at the corner of Buckner Boulevard and Samuell Boulevard.
Joe V’s Smart Shop has 10 locations in the Houston area, where it launched in 2010. H-E-B, which operates Joe V’s Smart Shop, began construction last year on a Joe V’s location at the corner of Wheatland Road and Highway 67 in Dallas, which is expected to become the brand’s first store to open outside the Houston area. That store’s expected to open this summer.
