H Mart draws dozens of cafes, stores to Haltom City

Haltom City’s H Mart Plaza is now fully leased, bringing restaurants, stores and more to the area.

HALTOM CITY, Texas — H Mart, the iconic Asian superstore, is opening its third North Texas location in Haltom City soon, and it’s bringing dozens of restaurants, cafes and stores along with it. 

H Mart Plaza, which is slated to open in Spring 2026 at 3920 NE Loop 820, is expected to become a hub for shopping, dining and community events, according to a press release from the city. Construction of the plaza is complete, officials said. 

In Carrollton, H Mart quickly became part of a large shopping center serving Asian food and selling asian products. A similar phenomenon is expected in Haltom City, where about 42 smaller storefronts are expected to open in the area surronding H-Mart.

“H Mart Plaza is a perfect example of the kind of vibrant, community-focused development we aim to bring to Haltom City,” Rex Phelps, city manager, said in a press release. “With all spaces leased and a great mix of businesses, this development is a significant milestone for the city.”
