FORECAST HIGHTLIGHTS
-
HALLOWEEN: A few showers through noon, drier by trick-or-treat time
-
NEXT WEEK: A stronger cold front means cooler weather
FORECAST
Halloween will start with a 30% chance of rain in the morning, decreasing to 10% by evening, perfect for trick-or-treating. A decaying cool front will bring the shower/storm chances through noon, but those chances fall off later in the day as the front falls apart.
Trick-or-treating temperatures will hover around 80 degrees, accompanied by muggy humidity. By the way, sunset is at 6:48 p.m., with darkness by 7:15 p.m.
RAIN CHANCES
We have pretty much daily rain chances, but they’re only at 20%-30%. And as of now, no day stands out as having higher potential for meaningful rain.
COOLER TEMPERATURES
While the high temperatures will remain in the mid-80s through Monday, a more significant cold front is expected early next week. As of now we’re predicting afternoon high temperatures in the low to mid-70s by Tuesday and Wednesday, with morning lows possibly in the 50s by Wednesday.
