A truck spilled 1,000 gallons of fuel onto the roadway Saturday, Duncanville officials said.
DUNCANVILLE, Texas — A hazmat spill closed several lanes of Interstate 20 in Duncancville, officials said.
Poilice responded to a crash around 11:56 a.m. Saturday in the eastbound lanes of I-20 in Duncanville, Dallas police said in a press release. Officials found a fuel delivery truck leaked approximately 1,000 gallons of fuel onto the highway, police said.
No fuel got into the storm drain system, officials said. However, Stormwater was notified of the crash and the trucking company has their own environmental clean up team en route, officials said. TxDOT was also notified of the crash.
It’s unclear if the spill was caused by an accident, officials said.
