Here’s the Astonishing Pic Taken By NYT Photographer at Trump’s Rally Which Some Believe Shows the Bullet

Former President Donald Trump is lucky to be alive on Saturday night after an assassination attempt on him at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

A supporter was reportedly killed and Fox is reporting that two others were critically injured.

As we reported, Trump issued a statement about the incident, thinking first of the supporter who was killed and that person’s family, as well as the people injured. But he also spoke about what it was like to be injured.

But now there’s a truly amazing set of pictures from Doug Mills of the New York Times. He got a picture of what some believe may be the bullet that hit Trump.

We should note that while some journalists are calling it the bullet, neither The New York Times nor the photographer have made that claim at this point. In the third picture on the right, you can see the blood on his hands from this ear.

Had Trump’s head been angled differently, it might have turned out very differently. Thankfully, God’s hand was on Trump, and he’s okay.

Here’s Fox video of the full shooting. You can hear Trump saying ‘get my shoes,’ people then very happy when he raises his fist that he’s okay, and they hustle him off. You can also hear Secret Service saying “shooter down.” Then supporters were also chanting “USA, USA!” as they rushed Trump out.

In the past, Trump has praised the NY Times photographer who took the series of pictures at the rally. “He’s the No. 1 photographer in the world,” Trump has said, also calling him a “genius photographer.” He certainly proved his mettle with this series, as the shots were flying.
