Hillary Clinton continues to try and stay relevant as she goes on MSNBC to discuss Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sending illegal aliens to the elites on Martha’s Vineyard.
Clinton joined MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on “Morning Joe.” Scarborough, as you can imagine, was critical of DeSantis’ decision to send the illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard. He repeatedly called it “human trafficking” and accused DeSantis of using innocent people as political pawns.
Of course, the same does not seem to apply whenever the Biden administration flies illegals to different states; you never hear Scarborough or anyone on MSNBC criticize their actions.
After absurdly calling DeSantis’ decision “human trafficking,” he passed the mic to Clinton:
“I think, Joe, you have laid out the craziness of the time in which we’re living where some politicians would rather not only have an issue but exacerbate it to the extent of literally human trafficking, as you said. So many other Americans — I happen to believe still the majority of Americans — are good-hearted and generous and when people end up on their doorstep in need, they’re going to respond. They’ll feed them and house them and the kids in the AP Spanish class will be let out of high school so they can go and translate. That’s the kind of American spirit that we try to celebrate at the Clinton Global Initiative.”
Does Hillary Clinton now claim to care about human trafficking? What DeSantis did was not human trafficking. But she never mentions actual human trafficking. According to the U.S. Department of State:
With an estimated 24.9 million victims worldwide at any given time, human traffickers prey on adults and children of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities, exploiting them for their own profit.
She added, “nobody wants open border who has any idea of how government and countries work.”
Clinton continued, telling Scarborough:
“But nobody wants inhumane terrible treatment of human beings either. What we should have been doing is to come together to reform change and better fund the system by which we deal with these issues. But some people, like [Gov. Greg Abbott] of Texas, would rather have an issue than be part of a solution.”
The Democrats have the majority in the House, Senate, and Presidency. If they wanted a “solution” for the southern border crisis, they would have offered it by now and passed the legislation.
Scarborough told Clinton:
“What happens? The doors of the churches fly open. The doors of the community halls fly open, and the people of Martha’s Vineyard are so grateful to be able to lend a helping hand.”
The MSNBC host added that he knew how much Clinton loved the ritzy enclave “very much.”
Per Fox News:
President Biden on Thursday called on Republican governors to stop sending migrants to Democratic cities and communities, calling such actions “political stunts” and “un-American.”
