Not much change is expected in our forecast for the next several days. It’ll be hot and humid with highs around 100 with afternoon heat index values of 105 to 110. This is hot enough that a Heat Advisory is in effect for Wednesday.
One change for Wednesday is a low chance of a cooling thunderstorm. The highest chance will be across Northeast and East Texas, mainly during the afternoon. After Wednesday, the pattern dries out.
Try to do any of your outside work early in the day before it gets too hot. Remember your pets as well! Make sure they have plenty of fresh, cool water. If you can, bring them inside. Walk them early before the pavement heats up as the hot surfaces can burn their paws.
