Humidity gradually returns, spring-like temps arrive by Christmas Eve

FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

  • MONDAY: Morning fog, warm and humid
  • CHRISTMAS EVE: Feeling spring-like, isolated chance for evening rain
  • CHRISTMAS DAY: Relatively quiet, more sunshine

FORECAST:

Hope you had a great weekend!

More humidity will continue to pump in overnight, leading to patchy morning fog early Monday. After starting off the day in the upper 50s, highs quickly warm into the mid-70s by the afternoon.

More of the same is expected into Christmas Eve, where we’ll also need to monitor for an isolated rain/storm chance Tuesday evening, mainly around and after dinnertime. Not a washout of an evening, but something to check back on if traveling around the area for holiday plans. Best chances reside in areas along and east of I-35.

An isolated chance for evening rain is in the forecast Tuesday.

We’ll clear things out by Christmas morning as more sunshine returns. Christmas Day is trending quiet, but still unseasonably warm, with highs in the low 70s.

Beyond Christmas, another isolated rain chance is in the forecast on Thursday as highs stay above average into the following weekend.

More updates to come! Until then, have a great day. ~ Mia

Extended forecast as of 12/22/24.
