Like Marty McFly in “Back to the Future,” I’ve seen this one. This is a classic.
With Donald Trump’s victory, and especially with the popular vote in hand, the Democrats need something to complicate Trump’s administration and create division in the populace that can drive people to “resist.” What better way to do that in America than with a good ol’ fashioned racially-based protest movement?

Daniel Penny’s acquittal is the perfect spark to ignite that fire. All you have to do is create headlines that paint a picture of racially-based oppression and a need to upend the system and remake it.
In other words, the third iteration of a BLM riot.
Check out these headlines being thrown around right now.
Here’s the New York Times:
Here’s the Wall Street Journal:
Here’s the AP headline:
And the story goes on. The New Republic, Rolling Stone, and the Daily Beast are all doing the same thing, painting Neely as an innocent soul who was just killed because he was in the wrong place and around the wrong white guy. Of course, the story isn’t so black and white as that.
Neely was a habitual crimin al with a history of violence, and during his altercation with Penny, Neely was becoming irate against passengers for no reason, becoming openly hostile and dangerous. Penny put Neely into a chokehold until he went unconscious, then put him in a recovery position and awaited medical assistance. What’s going very under-reported is that medical teams refused to take the full measures for Neely, such as mouth-to-mouth, for fear of getting hep-c.

But as the media is doing its work, activists and politicians are doing theirs to fan the flames.
Pennsylvania Rep. Summer Lee is claiming this is more unchecked violent vigilantism against black people and that Neely deserved compassion, claiming Penny murdered Neely.
BLM activists are promoting the idea of black people choking out white people to the point of death in response to Penny’s acquittal.
And of course, on TikTok, you have people painting Neely as a victim of a white supremacist society, completely throwing out all the facts of the case in order to paint this as another racially motivated killing of a black person in a racist country.
The stage is set. All that’s left is for the tension to rise high enough that at spills over into protests. Once the protests start, leftist radicals can infiltrate them and begin the riots. Once the riots begin, the media will have its grounds to paint Trump as a racially divisive president whose entire presidency revolves around how awful he is to minorities and that his time in office was just division and hate.

You’ve seen this one before. It’s a classic.
The question is, will the media be able to succeed in creating another BLM riot, or perhaps a racial riot without the BLM label? It’s possible, and the best thing to do in order to combat it is keep information about the real story flowing.
