On Wednesday, Biden traveled to Florida to assess the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian and to reiterate the federal government’s commitment to aiding in recovery efforts. As the storm hit, a number of Democrats – including Biden, left-leaning pundits, and media outlets asserted that carbon emissions and global warming were to blame for the storm’s presence and strength. However, Biden’s top hurricane expert disagrees.
